PRAYER UNLOCKS ALL DOORS
Prayer is the main ingredient for this ministry's success in reaching the lost. It’s a battle out there, and our “adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour.” (I Peter 5:8)
Jesus knew the power of prayer and he “went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.” (Mark 1:35) Jesus talked to His Father to receive strength and instructions. Like Jesus, we need the same thing in order to do the Father's will in this ministry.
PRAY FOR OUR PEOPLE
Dear God, let everyone know they are welcome in your Kingdom. Let each of us focus on our commonalities rather than what might divide us. You created this wide diversity of mankind in your image. Help us see you in ourselves and in all the people we encounter. Encourage each of us to reach out in kindness, with love, with healing words.
PRAY FOR DISASTER VICTIMS
Father, you are our source of ultimate strength. Lift those up who have lost loved ones, property and resources. Sustain those rebuilding after their loss, and give them wisdom and encouragement and empathy. Fill the hurting and lost with hope and remind them that you make all things new and will never leave their side.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
PRAY FOR OUR NATION
We pray that You will reign supreme in our country. Bestow wisdom, integrity and discernment upon the leaders of this nation, that we may move safely in a positive direction. Renew our hearts and soften them towards one another. Lord, cover us with your peace over our nation. In Jesus' name, Amen.
